My Bhoomi animates this philosophy by positioning sustainable living as the spirit of our times and of the coming age, where conscious choices become a norm. We believe that a reduced ecological footprint, equitable socio-economic growth, and an overall improved quality of life must go hand-in-hand, none advancing at the cost of the others. As its first crucial step to this end, My Bhoomi takes aim at the plastic pollution that litters our environment. MyBhoomi was founded in Oct 2023.

Salient Features
- • Plogging: We organize plogging events where volunteers of all ages unite to clean plastic waste from public areas and environmentally sensitive zones. Collected plastic is then sent for proper processing and recycling.
- • Educating Future Generations: Partnering with TAA's Sagar Mitra program, we educate students (Grades 5-9) on plastic waste and its impact, turning them into environmental protectors through a hands-on curriculum.
- • The Bhoomi Bag: My Bhoomi has introduced 100% compostable bioplastic bags and upcycled fabric bags, reducing reliance on harmful PET plastics.
- • E-Waste Recycling: E-waste management helps prevent harmful toxins like lead, mercury, and cadmium from polluting soil and water while conserving valuable raw materials like copper, gold, and rare earth metals.
The driving force behind every My Bhoomi initiative is the hope to leave a richer environment for posterity.

MyBhoomi's partnership with SagarMitra Abhiyaan conceptualized by Dr. Vinod Bodhankhar of The Academic Advisors (TAA) is being introduced in schools pan-India, to inculcate in both, students and teachers the necessity of environment protection. They all are encouraged to become active 'Environment Protection Ambassadors' and assist in the segregation of dry plastic waste from their own homes for recycling purposes.
Other projects are being planned to encourage communities across India and elsewhere to become more sustainable through lifestyle choices.
