Seva and Serving Humanity
True service is not about what we do, but about the love and compassion with which we do it. When we serve others selflessly, we serve the divine in them, and in doing so, we discover our own true nature.
— Sri M
The Satsang Seva Mission, born during the initial throes of COVID-19 in April 2020, has mushroomed into a remarkable force for positive change. Grounded in the principle of selfless service (seva), it excels in nourishing, upskilling, and rehabilitating communities facing destitution and despair, propelling them towards inclusion in the mainstream.
Manav Ekta Mission is the brainchild of Sri M — spiritual guide, social reformer and educationist — working under the aegis of the Satsang Foundation, towards the oneness of all humanity.
Walk of Hope was a padayatra for peace and harmony by the Manav Ekta Mission – which covered 7500 kms from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. Led by Sri M, founder of Manav Ekta Mission, the journey spanned 16 months through 11 Indian states, bringing together citizens from all walks of life. Traversing the varied landscape of India, it sought a significantly restored nation—fit enough to be bequeathed to our future generations.
Under its presidency of the G20 from 1st December 2022 to 10th September 2023, India organized the Civil20 Summit. The Government of India invited Sri M, Founder of The Satsang Foundation, to be a part of the C20 Core Committee, which provided a platform for Civil Society Organizations (CSO) around the world to voice the people's aspirations with the world leaders in G20, and to promote social and economic development for all.
