In the Guru Mantra, when we say ‘Sadgurum Tam Namaami’ we are not talking about any living being. We are talking about the Supreme Being. The real one is that which pervades everything everywhere and in the case of humans, may be able to connect to the divine within. The inner being is the real Guru.
