The Buddhists use the term ‘paraa gati’ to mean
‘one who has walked across’ or ‘one who has gone beyond’.
Such a person is called ‘Bodhi’—meaning one who has the 'bodh’.
‘Paraa gati paraa sangati bodhi swaha’ means May I also be like that ‘Bodhi’.

• December 17, 2015 at 10:08 AMNicely said Gurudev . I would like to share a small story of some tribe, A person keeps some sweets and chocolates near a tree and asked a group of children that who so ever comes first, will get sweets. To his surprise children held each other hands and ran. They shared the sweets and said " Ubantu meaning -' I am because we are'. I think that should be our attitude on the way to become a "Bodhi".
