The object may although be necessary to excite it or bring it out. Therefore, Vedanta says: the source of all happiness is within us. When you are in contact with certain objects, this innate happiness is aroused within us.

• January 14, 2016 at 02:02 AMIndeed, happiness/bliss are innate to self. Yet IT needs external objects arouse/stimulate its nature, as acknowledged in the Master's quote? That creates 'dependence' and that results in the 'vikars' of craving and clinging? Comments, please Sir!
