When you encounter something that is extremely painful and unpleasant,
don’t shudder. Even that is bound to pass. To be replaced by what is pleasant.
Whether it is pleasant or unpleasant, it does not have any effect on the true Self,
the Atman, which by its very nature is full of bliss and independent of outer inputs.
