The experience of happiness is innate, not in the object that I enjoy.
The object may although be necessary to excite it or bring it out.
Therefore, Vedanta says: the source of all happiness is within us.
When you are in contact with certain objects, this innate happiness is aroused within us.

• March 13, 2017 at 07:17 AMFor the first time I see a complete comment on happiness. Source of all happiness is within. The fountain gets unplugged with catalytic contact with outside object which may be different for different people. There is crystal clarity in the comment because it comes from a great realised master who fortunately lives in our times. We are truely blessed.
