You have to discriminate between what is real and unreal and find the Truth. In fact, Shankara wrote an exposition of the eleven major Upanishads, which speak of the same Truth.

“சரித்திரத்தில்,ஆதிசங்கரர் ,புத்தர் மறைந்த பலவருடங்களுக்குப்பிறகுதான் அவதரித்தார்.
உபநிஷதங்களை உபதேசித்து அவர் கூறியவாவது, ” எத்தனை சட ங்குகள் செய்தாலும்,எத்தனைத் தியாகங்கள் செய்தாலும்அவைஎல்லாம் உங்களை பேருண்மைக்குக் கொண்டுச் செல்லாது”.
பேருண்மைக்கும் உண்மைஅல்லாதவைகளுக்கும் உள்ள வேறுபாடுகளைத் தெரிந்துக்கொண்டு, அதனால், பேருண்மையைகண்டுகொள்ளவேண்டும்.
சொல்லப்போனால்,ஆதிசங்கரர், பதினோரு உபநிஷதங்களுக்கும் எழுதிய விளக்க உரையில்,இந்த உண்மையைத்தான் வலியுறுத்தி இருக்கின்றார்.
