What does a human worship most – Desire? Enjoyment? Wealth?
These are the things that man worships – pride, prestige, respect, wealth, lust and power. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
One need not necessarily do pooja in a temple.

I did at times think the very basis of my existence. I would often ask myself “Why I am born”. Why god made me?” Am I really contributing towards the welfare of my family let alone the society? I earn, I cook, I eat and I sleep. (Is this all? In life? What’s the whole purpose of my existence?)Then my query was answered as I happened to read the below.
Describing the purpose of bringing Adam into existence .Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chisti Sahib says that, God said to Adam,
“Pray i.e. remember Me in thy heart.
Know Me to be present in thy body.
Give place to My love in thy head.
I have created thee for this purpose, that thou may’st know Me, glorify Me and love Me”.
