If you read from any of the Upanishads and commentaries of Shankara and others, you find what they are trying to say is that while the intellect is a very powerful and useful weapon for us I mean an instrument for us. The highest function of the intellect is to understand its limitations in the spiritual field.

ஸ்ரீ எம் கூறினார்:
" உபநிஷதங்களையோ அல்லது ஆதிசங்கரர் அல்லது மற்றவர் களின் பொழிப்புரைகளையோபடித்தீர்கள் என்றால்,நமக்கு அறிவுத்திறமை என்பது மிக சக்தி வாய்ந்ததாகவும் உபயோகமான உபகரணமாக இருந்தாலும்,அதன் மிக உயர்ச்சியான பணிஎன்னவென்றால் அதற்க்கு ஆன்மீகதுறையில் இருக்கும் கட்டுப்பாட்டு வரையறை எல்லையைப் புரிந்துக்கொள்ளுவ துதான்."

"The highest function of the intellect is to understand its limitations in the spiritual field" -Sir, Our intellect has been programmed by default to grab material things only which gives a very short term pleasure with some convenience . But comprehending formless form of our being seems to be very difficult without the help of an experience teacher. After listening to your talks and studying Upnishads, , I am really feeling change day by day at inner level. I am really thankful to all the masters to keep these teaching alive for all of us.
