I look at this world and I see, through ordinary common sense, that it is not permanent. It is not permanent, it is temporary and what is temporary cannot be real. Everything is getting destroyed. In fact, a part of our lives is spent in trying to rescue that which is getting destroyed and protect it.

Dear brethren,

I beg to differ on the generalist and sweeping statement.

Not everything is getting destroyed. Many are getting built anew and afresh right from scratch. It all depends on us humble human's perspective.

While I truly am in complete agreement with the concept of temporary, permanent and reality, I personally think we don't base our lives on rescuing or protecting that is getting destroyed. That would be tantamount to indulging in a defence-mechanism in trying to escape from a humble perspective of reality.

Those who are intellectually and spiritually mature are seeking a path to solace that would lead and take those around them to the common objective of eternal happiness. That, to me, is positive and not negative, not to protect but show the right direction in the veining path across the jungle of life towards an eternity of joy and happiness, notwithstanding the roots and stony hurdles that emerge in between.
