After the brahmacharya period, when one has studied to the best extent possible depending on the individual’s background and capacity, one goes to the next stage called grihastha. One has a family and one works to sustain himself and his family. He continues to learn and in the end he reaches spiritual fulfillment, the ultimate aim of being on this earth.
