We sit in prayer for Nepal.
They are our neighbours and we identify with their loss and suffering. More than 6,100 people are feared dead (official figures say it could reach 10,000), about 11,440 people are injured while thousands are missing and eight million are affected. One million children are urgently in need of help. These numbers are startling and heartbreaking scenes of loss and suffering are being communicated to us through the media. While we pay our respects to those who are deceased, our thoughts are with those who have survived the quake. Our prayers are for the well being and sustenance of those alive, and we expect these prayers will create a positive change in intentionality at the individual and global level. Nepal needs both aid and prayer at this moment. I appeal to you to donate generously to make support and assistance possible to the beleaguered nation. These donations can be routed through Satsang Foundation, which is coordinating relief measures for Nepal. You may also choose to donate to reputable charitable organisations that are engaged in delivering aid. I request every one of you to join me in this prayer for healing a shattered nation. - Sri MSatsang Foundation’s Nepal Earthquake Relief Fund
